| Description: | Other: Mosquitoes were grouped into pools of max. 10 mosquitoes (same sampling site, species and sex if possible). Screening of the mosquitoes for viral infection by generic RT-PCR yielded 398 sequence fragments of potential viruses of the families Rhabdoviridae (8 putative species) and Phenuiviridae (11 putative species), and the genera Alphavirus (1 species), Flavivirus (19 putative species), Orthobunyavirus (1 species), Orbivirus (2 species) and Alphamesonivirus (1 species). |
